As a teenager I loved his content back then, I'm just disgusted right now at how selfish and low he has become. He never really apologized for all his wrong doing and took way to long to react rightfully to all his racist, woman and slut-shaming, homophobic, pedohilic and other controverial comments and sketches. Not when it was right to do, but when the backlash came.

He should have lived the rest of his life offline and use his money-grabbing makeup-line money for that, instead of again capitalize more so from kids that don't know better...

the average American earns $1,400,000 in their lifetime, Shane Dawson's house alone costs double that, and that was before he even made $10-$20 million (or more if you include extra merch and sponsors). If he hasn't gone crazy spending everything then he should never need to work again and could live comfortably.

Youtube ad revenue does not earn you much at all in comparison to sponsors. If he can manage to get a sponsorship off anyone he'll make a lot of money. Likewise if he sells merch, he'll take a big cut of sales. All he needs is 1 company ballsy enough to publicly support him
