I believe communism is great in theory but in practice, your take on it is right

The only viable solution is a mix of a capitalist free market that empowers consumers (so boycotts work and you can support good businesses effectively) with a socialist safety net (SNAP, medicare, medicaid, social security, etc) that makes sure people don't fall behind to the point that their survival is a challenge.
