I recently fell in love with this album, like every track is so fantastic. I'm kinda shook I didn't love this when it came out, I don't even remember hearing any song from it, WHERE WAS I?! ?

the title track alone is one of the most addictive, hypnotic, and straight up fun pop songs I've ever heard. I'm a Ruin?!? Solitare?!?!? Happy?! :messga: SAVAGES!??? I could just type out the whole track list because every damn song slaps

Froot is one of my favourite albums. Savages, Immortal and Froot are top tier songs for me! The only way to make it even better is to add I’m Not Hungry Anymore to the end of the track list. I would have liked it as a hidden song!

I think all of Marina’s albums are strong and well written, but the other versions of the songs on L+F are better than what was put out. Karma (90’s Version) should have been released!

Scare them first, so they can’t scare you...

Solitare

Probably my favourite Marina song. The harmonies and the melody are gorgeous.

Have you heard Ancient Dreams yet? Incredible album.

Should have been the single. It sums up the album so well.

My fav Marina album for sure. The first time I listened to Happy I burst into tears. A very cathartic song for me.

omg yes, i LOVE it. Easily my favorite album of the year so far.

I've been listening to Froot & ADIAML so much, they feel very connected in a way to me - I can't quite pinpoint how or why yet but maybe it's because Marina primarily wrote both herself?

the ending riffs of I Love You but I Love Me More remind me of the ending riffs of Froot (title track), Highly Emotional People's delicate melodies & sparkly/spacey feeling reminds me of Solitare in the most beautiful way.

All her albums are great and different, she explores genres with always a very sleak artistic direction.

But My fav with the most hits might still be Electra Heart. Her boldest move to date, with a real concept very well executed.

I think Ancient Dreams and Froot are on the same level of excellence though.

yes for the first part, except I think that ancient dreams is more like homemaker and purge the poison is more like froot with steroids.

And I think her Chromatica would be Love+Fear, for the meanings and the very dance direction, and there seems to be like tons of producers involved.

And most of all, I think that few artist do what she did with Ancient Dreams, this fusion of her very own flavours into one that feels so new. I only think of Bowie doing this with the Next Day, or maybe Garbage that are better than ever now.
