Really danceable, unique, very Gaga like but still it was something completely new when I first heard it Pennywise It's a bit cheesy and an overused metaphor, but still an amazing club banger nonetheless. Rj Barker Top notch beats but the second verse is a let down. whoresup Great opening track, sets the tone really nicely for the album. Poltergeist I think it's the only Gaga song where I find verses better than chorus, which is in my opinion a bit annoying when I listen to this song too often, I like it as a whole song though Butters Stotch Such an incredible way to start the album. The transition from Chromatica I to Alice is out of this world and it immediatly lets you know what the album is all about, "Feel through dance and sound". martiniglistens I will never forget laying on the couch, logging off work for an hour to listen to this for the first time, and HEARING THE FIRST FEW NOTES OF THIS SONG I FELL OVER TO THE GROUND AND YELLED. Such a pronounced amazing intro for this journey of an album. ManMan The beat the pre-chorus the bridge slayyyyy Judas Society Gaga's album starters are always one of the best. It's not my favorite in the album but it ranks high amongst her discography. Love the lyrics too! iamjune I know everyone loves this song, and calls it basically godly...but I just can't get into it sorry Alice, but please...keep looking for wonderland Matt One of the songs I was most excited to hear pre album release and one of my favorites! I can't wait to hear this one live one day. I just wish it was longer! Spyro Honestly think this track is just *slightly* above average. I love the theme and adore the second verse. However, I don’t think that makes up for the lack luster chorus. It’s not the worst chorus, but I feel it could’ve hit a little harder. Given that, I felt this track wouldn’t be so loved if it wasn’t the opening track as compared as say, where 1000 Doves is placed. Again, not to crap on the track. I listen to it a lot. But there are places I wish she turned up the oomf. FRANK1991 The song is a great intro and loved it at first listen, but sort of lost it's freshness overtime. Reez Such a beautiful invite into the world of Chromatica. barbietingz Amazing, memorable song that deserved to be a single. Wish she used her vocals more in the bridge though. cav07 Such an incredible album opener. The initial transition from C1 gives me chills everytime. ReplayBoss It sets the album up nicely and in my opinion should have been the lead single. ProfessionalClown One of her strongest openers enissa11best opener Candy Gaga It's a really good song but I find myself not listening to it that much since the beginning. czarnyptak Good opener. I love the Chromatica I transition, my fav of these three. The song coulda been better though Blown Away I used to love it a lot more than I did now, it hadn't held up over time. The instrumental still goes off in the car, but the song does have its flaws too. I don't like how it starts with the chorus, it sounds a bit clunky. The lack of a second verse bothers me too. It leaves me unsatisfied, as does the length of the verse (the song as a whole too). The song has a lot of potential, with a fantastic instrumental and a great chorus, but needs some work too. Give it a different intro, a longer verse and a second verse and remove the vocal effects on the bridge and you get a way better song. Lionel Ronaldo I was amazed when I heard this song for the first time. I really love the production. I was immediately dancing and jumping and I still am Gagaism This is the kind of a song that I’ve always wanted from her. The beat, the flow, the melody and the 90s influences is just everything for me. Even though I understand why Stupid Love was the #1 single I still think this should be the one instead. What an introduction to Chromatica. The only reason I didn’t give it a 10 is because sometimes I feel like there’s a missing verse. Other than that, perfect. An iconic introduction to the album. Hearing the very first seconds of the song after it transitioned from Chromatica I and the line “My name isn’t Alice” for the first time was an experience and a memory I will cherish forever. Nothing else to say. martiniglistens The way she went from the bottom of my list when the album first came out, to in my top 5. This is a banger and very classic gaga. ManMan My 2nd most played of the album Judas Society So, I'm contemplating if I am gonna give this song an 11. But the fact that without Chromatica II interlude, it is not as perfect as it should be. I give it a 10. iamjuneIconic. Matt The most Gaga sounding track on this album and my favorite. I'm so happy it got a live performance and remixes! And the music video is Gaga best video in years, if not her best since Bad Romance! Spyro Ok, disclaimer: Act 2 is my favorite section of this album, so the scores start going up. This was the first song I fell in love with during my first listen. It really gave me “Gaga is BACK” feelings. The beat (with help to Madeon, whom I’m a fan of his ARTPOP songs) is addicting and a bit creative in my opinion. Lyrics are really relatable and overall catchy. Only set back is I wish the chorus wasn’t a lackluster and think it could use some work. Overall it’s my favorite so far the track list. FRANK1991 Took me a while to love it, the music video might just top as her best yet cav07 This song is perfectly mastered and is a tough choice between Rain On Me and Replay for my top song. Of course, don’t forget about the neck-breaking transition from C2. ReplayBoss One of the best music videos, genuis lyrics, and that transition from Chromatica II to 911 is perfect. I love the beat too. ProfessionalClown I screamed when this first played and I still scream Candy Gaga I didn't like it that much in the beginning. I always liked the verses but the sorta non existing chorus didn't sit well with me. But after the video it grew massively on me and was a summer bop for me. King J Flop. Blown Away The video and the Chromatica II transition are the best things about the song. The song itself doesn't satisfy to be completely honest. The autotuned verses, the short chorus, the abrupt structure of the song and the general monotonuous vibe of the song bother me. Just removing the autotune and adding a bit of flavor to the vocals would already do wonders. But the song is not all bad, it has potential. I still listen to it. Lionel Ronaldo 911 and Alice are my top songs from the album. I love this song so much, eveything, lyrics, production, everything. Let's be honest, this song deserves more than what it got. Gagaism I’ve loved this song “ever since day one”. A production highlight on the album for sure. BloodyMary08 The best song on the album HausOfAntonio Is there anything to say? INSTANTLY legendary. Huttont An instant fave. The lyrics and vocal effects are classic gaga GagaIsMyCure Sickening, she snapped with this one Dadru The lyrics, the video, the production and ofcourse the iconic transition. Just a perfect song. dimitristhe Lyrically one of her best songs ever! grigioboi BRILLIANT, INCREDIBLE, AMAZING, SHOW STOPPING, SPECTACULAR, TOTALLY UNIQUE... This is old school Gaga. It reminds me of her early days. Hearing the transition for the first time was a total COLLAPSE. The song is amazing, the only thing I would say is sometimes I wish the chorus would slap just a little harder. But anyway, what an iconic bop. TopazBlue Was my immediate favorite on my first listen, but over time ROM and Alice are #1 and #2 for me now. This song is EVERYTHING!
