Exactly... The Fresh Prince was like the biggest show ever where I'm from. Nobody was b*tching that they were all black. And The Cosby Show too.  Nobody gave a damn that there were 6 white friends when it aired either.

Nowadays when you won’t cast at least one black person in a series you’ll get cancelled. Imho it’s not racist. It’s the idea of the producer, so they decide who to cast.

Believe it or not, they are groups of friends that are entirely white like they are a group of friends that are entirely black. Representation is important but not in every single program out there like they are programmes where the majority of the cast is black people or any other ethnics. 
I feel this ‘woke’ behaviour from the media is just a way for deflecting from serious problems within society for example they were an episode of The Golden Girls that was removed from Hulu because Rose & Blanche wore a face mask in front of black people (total misunderstanding but really funny). That episode dealt with a black & white person relationship and done really well. It triggered the gammon snowflakes but us on the left did not ask for this episode to be removed. Yet again, it was the media trying to stir conflicts.

This is so dumb. The 90s was a huge era for all black shows and all black comedy. Some of the biggest shows on TV were The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The Cosby’s and family Matters, living single, etc.. And this person really wants to bitch about Friends? Really?

At some point we're just gonna have to accept that people didn't care as much about diversity and inclusion 20-30 years ago. Mentalities are evolving, but what's done is done. Of course more diversity would've been appreciated, but as other people have commented, an all white groupe of friends is not something out of the ordinary. Should the series be remade now, they would most likely include more POCs and LGBT people.

You do know that these all black shows existed because there were no black people on all the major shows right? Like a TV segregation.

Imagine being in 2021 and still thinking adding a non-white person to the table is "woke". A lot of y'all are stuck in the dark ages and I can't tell if it's more sad or gross. 

If you don't wanna talk about the fact that they ripped off a black show and made all the characters white to appeal to a wider (read as prejudiced) audience, then maybe hop off this specific thread that talks about the racial makeup of the cast.
