Healed My Heart 39,510 Posted May 26, 2021 Share Posted May 26, 2021 I signed up for a free trial of Apple TV to watch. I couldn't find an alternative. Tbh I was disappointed in it. I got through 2 episodes and that was it for me. Gaga's segment and Harry's segment were beautiful and I really appreciated them. But part of the first episode was really triggering for me as someone with OCD. The Olympic boxer they featured is very clearly in the severe throes of her illness and didn't appear to be getting much help. It was painful to watch, especially compared to the other people featured who were speaking through the experience of having started to really heal. The OCD segment felt exploitative. The second episode highlighted a lot of Oprah's personal limitations in mentoring people with mental health issues. There was a scene with her video chatting with a mentee of hers who was still in a mental health facility, and Oprah was just grilling her about how she was going to fend for herself after getting out.
