Wait, does this mean a very minor credited songwriter for an amazing album that is not majorly made by that person might actually win AOTY? :air:

Next, even the people who cater food will be eligible :ladyhaha:

So if you use a sample from a previous song and it wins SOTY the person who produced the previous song gets a Grammy. :billie:

It kinda seems that the Scammys just created a hole that indeed could grant Grammys to songs sampled. 😂

So you can write 1 line on a whole album and win a Grammy? :wtf:
Not sure how I feel about this one

That'd be 72 Grammy's for Beyoncé's Lemonade for example, just for the songwritting  Add producers, engineers etc and it's a fkin mess

What of that lines was, "woah woah, yeahhhhh?"

Grammy, always changing for the worst.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

You do know that 25 of those 72 writers come from samples used in the songs right? It's not like they wrote the album lol

yeah Beyonce used alot of samples, she didn't really make other people write the album for her, she did get people but she obviously helped with the process and the overall vision not to mention in writing some of the songs

Not a fan of this rule at all. I never view those smaller credits as counting towards an artist's Grammy nominations. I always thought it would be bittersweet to win your first ever Grammy as part of a tiny writing credit on another person's album. Especially if that was the only one you ever won, you'd forever question for the rest of your life if you do technically have a Grammy or not.

I mean, so? I don’t understand how even after the ex president of the Grammys confirmed that it was fake people still praise them :enigma:

It doesn’t matter what the new rules are.
