Why Isn't Gaga Addressing TCB?

Why isn't Gaga and/or her team (i.e. Bobby) addressing the state of TCB? In the U.S., it looks like the dates will be going ahead (not sure about London, though I think Paris is a scratch).

I would just like to know if the concert is or isn't going ahead, and I don't think it is appropriate for fans to be left in a state of indefinite limbo.

Thoughts on if/when Gaga will comment one way or the other?

Ever since COVID hit, companies like Ticketmaster and major airlines have been in a corner with barely any revenue for over a year now. I'm sure the money they took in for upcoming shows like the Chromatica Ball has been used/tied up elsewhere as well. Ticketmaster likely doesn't want ANY of these shows to be cancelled or refunded - the probably couldn't handle that kind of strain at this point. That's also why so many other artists keep pushing back dates into 2022 and 2023.

I'm willing to bet Ticketmaster is more to blame for the silence than Gaga and her team.

There are a lot of details to work out before she can just say it’s happening. For all we know she has other things already scheduled and they have to work with the arenas etc.

Plus she’s busy celebrating BTW. :firega:

I wish her team would say something already, they have to know if it's going to happen or not. Bieber postponed, The Weeknd postponed a HUGE tour, like her and her people have to know it's happening or not. I tried to book a hotel in london only to be told that americans have to quarantine.

I really need to know if i should book a flight and hotel :gum: I had zero faith it's going to happen. It just doesn't make sense why they haven't pulled the plug officially yet :saladga:

It's not up to her team, though. It's a Live Nation tour; they have to make the call. Don't start bugging people on her team, if anything, ask Live Nation for the most recent update. As of last week, my connection that works there said it was still up in the air. A lot of pieces have to fall into place. With 3/6 shows most likely not happening, it would not be profitable for Live Nation or Haus to keep the tour on for 2021. They cannot announce they're rescheduling until the new dates are determined.

I mean surely they’d know by now if this is happening? I’m hopeful it is because she should’ve cancelled by now

All I know is that I won’t buy a ticket until there’s confirmation the shows are happening.  I’m interested in going to the MetLife Stadium show.

No one is for sure yet, it is not her fault. It depends on how each country is dealing with the vaccines right now. And if

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

They are trying to get the last minute chance to hit the best grossing tour of 2021, so they will not cancel so soon

I 100% AGREE it's not LG's fault BUT Live Nation is also doing the weeknd's tour and they were pretty quick with giving fans a heads up. Justin Bieber same thing a Live Nation tour. I am no Swiftie but even she gave the fans an update before canceling Lover. I am not rich, I plan my LG concerts and I am flying from the US to the paris, london, and toronto show so yes an update would be nice so I can book a flight. I also have tickets for the US dates but those are easier to plan flights and hotels on short notice.

That means the Weeknd and Justin Bieber had their availability at the ready for confirmation. Gaga's own schedule was probably very complex with filming Gucci being touch and go leading up to the start date. Now they have to worry about the press circuit, her other engagements and contracts, etc. Also, Justin's new dates just recently got announced, and his tour was supposed to start in June, so they were not quick at all. Taylor cancelled her tour, not rescheduled. Gaga is most likely rescheduling, hence the delay. If they can't make it work, we'll know roughly around that 4 week timeframe. Live Nation/Gaga are not responsible for anyone's travel costs or plans. While it's stressful on the folks who will be traveling, that is unfortunately the risk taken with buying tickets to any live performance, even aside the global pandemic. I've had concerts cancelled 10 minutes before the start because there was lightning present at an outdoor show.
