Someone has never seen movie junkets in their life.

And yet we are on a thread where an actor is joking about that story. I wonder why Gaga's story stands out as a goofball joke and not all the other repetitive stories told on the red carpet.

Most actors repeat themselves in junket interviews (even some film journalists pointed that out when the 100 people in a room thing became huge). The only reason Gaga's blew up is because fans made a huge deal about it + the media was fixated on her and Bradley Cooper at the time + the media (and Gaga herself) were playing into the image of her as campy, melodramatic over the top old school star. Gaga also playfully leaned into the 100 rooms thing.

I feel like a lot of stans found it cringe but people in real life found it amusing, like they expected Gaga to be over the top in that way. Some of my friends-who aren't even Gaga fans really—thought it was funny.

I actually lived for it and still live for it. Compilation video of her repeating that mantra is something I watch every day and laugh as ****.

Yea :huntyga: it's started as insider Stan jokes and creeped up into GPs minds, and in a way it's both cringe and iconic. Like that "She's meditating guys" kind of iconic.

Like I can see if years from now someone brought back the 100 people in the room, it will get thousands likes.

I do wonder though if she actually laughs at it
