“You and I” no longer has an umlaut over the u on Spotify

With it being BTW season and all, I’m having a jam out tonight and just realized You and I no longer has a ü in You on either the standard or special versions of the album on Spotify. Maybe I’m late to the game, but when did I this happen? Her way of saying eff you to Lüc Carl?

"Scheibe" instead of Scheiße (also, double-s is fine, don't worry  ) is a hate crime against the Germans and the German language  .

Bc umlaut is a German word. We use it to describe the letters ä, ö and ü

The Expanded Version of Born This Way didn't have the "ß" and "ü". However, it has in the standard version.

It depends on the language, we have it in French and we call it "tréma" (although it doesn't have the same function because the umlaut is specifically there to indicate that the letter is pronounced differently - the tréma is there to indicate that the word itself is pronounced differently ).

It was called trema in portuguese as well, it was abolished in brazilian portuguese, sadly. It was only used in the letter u, the ü meant that the u was pronounce, words like like pingüim and lingüiça had the trema in the gue and gui in portuguese usually the u is not enunciated, so we used trema to announce the vocalization, now it's gone. T-T I miss the trema.
