Sad they have to make these generic radio singles to have success in the US. They kinda lost their k-pop magic tbh. Any group could’ve released this song. The lyrics sound a bit more like the way actual English speakers would phrase things instead of bizarre turns of phrase they used in Dynamite. The chorus is really catchy, the beat's good. This one sounds more like traditional hit material, doesn't make me cringe and it likely won't bother me if it becomes as big this time. I don't know who thought that looked good. the problem is that the bizzare turns of phrase were literally written by american writers. dynamite was just a really bad song lyrically. this one was written by different writers, and it shows.
