Reading the lyrics is... phew Just... this kid is doing everything right. And what he's doing is so important. I thought I was hard done by growing up gay, but growing up black and gay in America must be so impossible. The way that he's providing an honourable but also down to earth role model for young black/gay youth is so important. This music will change lives. Then he blew up with Old Town Road and kinda wiped it all. This video shows his life before he was famous, and the clip of the phone is a little homage to that account a nice little touch I think I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
