TimisaMonster 31,073
I feel the 90s/Disco/House vibes on some songs are a bit dated but only a few songs sound fresh imo and the complete neglect of promo also hasn't enhanced the music in anyway to elevate it so...for such a "futuristic alien" themed album...it sounds more outdated than BTW which to me is the big sister of Chromatica Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! Gabi001 2,184
It is still so fresh, I listen to it everyday since it was released. I still get goosebumps when I hear first "My name isn't Alice" or during Sine From Above (a.k.a. one of Gaga's best songs) I'm not having fun tonight. StarstruckIllusion 50,402
She’s aging w grace!! At first I thought there were no skips. Got tired of C1 after a week. C2 I skip thru until the last 15 seconds. C3 I keep after Replay bc it flows so well!! Then I realized I could do without Fun Tonight, Free Woman, Plastic Doll and Sine From Above. I suspect Enigma is is probably next on the skip list, Free Woman growing on me tho. The rest are stellar tho. Replay and Rain On Me holy ****. Top 5 of her discography easily. While Free Woman and Stupid Love have only grown even more on me. really? I actually changed my stance on PD after this mashup... I dont the instrumental works optimally for the vocals in the original song:

Delulu Rogers 7,043
The fact that there is no clear consensus on which songs have aged I think is a clear indication that the album is doing just fine, it comes down more to personal opinions. The only dated song imo is FW. It is so basic and boring and I don’t get how she every okayed it. The demo was so funky and groove and more nuanced. The bridge is still everything. Enigma Monster 63
I keep going back so many times on my opinion of Chromatica. I know that I like the album, but the more I listen to it the more flaws I find with it, yet I genuinely enjoy the album and play at least my top 5 songs from it every other day or so. I have come to accept that I won't ever really LOVE FW and FT, those 2 songs are so similar to me that having them back to back on the tracklist makes me mildly irritated, I think one would have sufficed, or she should have spaced them out a bit and still manage to fit them in the album storytelling. I used to LOVE Sine From Above and considered it on my top 3 songs from the album, but damn Elton John's voice ruins the song for me (he recently did the same thing with Rina's Chosen Family ). I have come to find Plastic Doll to be incredibly cheesy, but I like the production enough. Aside from those 4 songs I find the rest of Chromatica to great/ excellent. Recently I've been obsessed with Babylon, def in my top 3 after Replay and Enigma of course.
HeavyMetal Halcyon 1,536
It’s my favorite album. In 2011 I don’t think anyone would convince me that something could top BTW, but it did. I love Chromatica, and Enigma is my new favorite Gaga track. Chromatica Forever
