Demi shared part of their identity with the public, whether you think it's for attention or not is only your perception. It does not change their identity. It is for this reason that I posted in this thread despite never commenting on this site before. I personally identify as non-binary and have identified that way for years. Imagine my delight in discovering that I can connect with Demi more now that they have revealed a new piece of their identity, and then reading all these comments here from people criticizing them and saying that this is for x, y, z reason. My gender identity is not an invitation for discourse or discussion, it's simply information. And it should be the same for Demi and any other person who comes out as non-binary or anything else.
