Head Empty 24,960
ABBA deserves so much more recognition. Their songs are genuinely the most catchy tracks I know, without ever aging or losing their spark. Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺

HuffsAhoy 7,433
It's cute but Cher's version is superior, just as every song she covered on her album. I can't listen to any of the originals without wanting to take a nap. You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

I know nearly all their songs (not just their hits) and i havent heard a single one i didnt like And while visually and performance wise i wouldnt put them near the top of my all time favs, purely music speaking they beat everyone else by a mile even Gaga in my opinion Lemme ask someone older how they rank ABBA vs other legends cuz im curious @Ronk @Woolfsmck
Ronk 14,760
I love ABBA's music so much. Fan since 1975. One of my all time favorite groups. For anyone who doesn't know of their greatness: I live outside the space time continuum.

Well first my music teacher i had in alementry had us sing a lot of ABBA classics and i liked them (but at the time i didnt know they were from ABBA nor did i know who they were but that was a start) Then my parents had the ABBA gold greatest hits and they played it in the car when we went for trips somewhere. I recognized a few from school (Fernando & Thankyou For The Music especially which we sang in school a lot) and i loved them My parents always had a lot of CDs and music from the 70s, 80s and 90s... i always liked some of them but none of them grabed my heart as much as ABBA did For some years growing up i only knew the hit songs from the ABBA gold greatest hits album but in time youtube became a big thing and other stuff of theirs got uploaded and i basically learned their entire discography and been obsessed with them ever since Its funny i know their music better than most older ppl cuz im such a fan and i know like every single song of theirs by heart but for me ABBA truly is music act at its core. I always found them only so-so as live performers or on visuals. Theres lots of bands i think are way better than they were in that aspect and Agnetha herself admited in an interview once that ABBAs strength was more in recording than in performing but purely music speaking i think they are the greatest of all time. Of the acts i know a lot of their discography, they are the only act i know of (solo artist & band alike) that i like every single one of their songs. I cant think of a single one that i think is "meh"
