It is still incredibly f*cked up though...like you think they would realize "maybe it would come across as wildly insensitive and provocative to celebrate with the mosque burning in the background". I see what you’re saying but I’m honestly not buying that they would be so willing to celebrate that after the incidents that happened today. They clearly wanted to send the message. I feel so sad when I see all those innocent people suffering. It reminds me of my people from Bosnia back in the 90s when gonocide happened and the world stayed silent. Israel needs to be held accountable for all those innocent lives lost today and through the years and the stealing from Palestinians. This makes me so ****ing sad. Trigger warning! Reveal hidden contents Please everyone who is using social media share something. It may be nothing for you but it means the world to those who are suffering right now. It is interesting cause most of Israeli people (not just the government) supports ethnic cleansing towards Palestinians, it reminds me of that time when Serbian regime was doing the same thing towards Bosnians and Kosovo Albanians and not just the government but also most of Serbs supported that fully and even to this day they have the same mentality. I didn't see this part...I wasn't on twitter very long and only saw the brief clip of people celebrating Jerusalem Day with the mosque burning in the background. I had no idea they were singing and chanting, ending Jerusalem Day, with a call for genocide.

While they were there to celebrate Jerusalem Day (not to only celebrate the mosque burning), a large swath of people started chanting (looks like thousands) about murdering Palestinians. Straight up calls for genocide. Horrifying. And yeah, that's a lesson I need to learn lol about social media. I gotta remember to click through or read multiple tweets to get the full story, even if it's legit journalists....Social media does misrepresent/not always give the full story, but in this case I was totally wrong and misinterpreted it because I only read a few tweets from two different journalists. It’s okay! I’m glad you’re seeing the bigger picture now. Twitter is full of propaganda unfortunately and we need to be careful about who we trust.
