Like all Tory leaders, he'll be disposed of when the backbenchers are done with him. The only way he'll stay in power personally is if he installs an authoritarian dictatorship where his own party can't oust him.

Exactly my thoughts. If I’m honest with you, he’s lasted longer than I expected. I really thought he would lose the 2019 election. Bojo seems to doing something, he keeps winning in England.

Disclaimer: these aren't my opinions just what I've learned and observed.

Bojo is doing better than expected by appealing to both the working and middle class, despite being upper class himself and not really having much in common with them.

I think people like his brashness and lack of political sensitivity, especially older generations who are very pro free speech (remember this was a huge issue for them like race, gender and LGBTQ+ are for us). Seeing a PC culture feels like an attack on free speech they were taught were vital. 

There are good chunks of the Midlands and the North that don't get the same standard of living as the South East (or even Scotland to that level). Like Wales, they're in a lost area of the UK that gets overlooked compared to Scotland and NI which have more political clout historically. He took this and Brexit as a easy win as this appeals to those less affluent areas that don't "appear" to benefit from EU membership. 

It's also because the opposition is quite weak due to relying too much on students/graduates and woke culture instead of working class people who won't go into higher ed. The other option, the Lib Dems, can't pose a threat anymore either. 

This isn't my personal opinion by the way, just observations as to why he's done better than you'd expect.

Bear in mind as well that English turnout this week was lowish since it doesn't have a parliament like Holyrood or the Senedd.
