Who cares if they’re having some fun this time? to me this is the least “try-hard” they’ve been in...well, forever; and it’s an absolutely infectious, joyful piece of songwriting (and filmmaking). But they are though, they’re very much on the poppier extreme of the rock spectrum. I wouldn’t say they’re far from the pop genre and that expecting a pop sound is something shocking tbh. So I had my doubts about the first thing we saw for Higher Power because it said "Official Audio" as in not the music video. Well the music video is out and looks amazing!
