Some of their collabs have been boring, some have been jaw-dropping. Every photographer has a brand they are known for and hired for. If they were to change it up, it would hurt their brand. Same thing with producers. Not everyone is a fan of DJWS. But his style will work with certain songs, and not with others. It's all subjective at the end of the day.
