The real deciding factor is how much work has gone into preparing the show already, I mean if they didn't do any work for it what are the chances that the show will happen. Also since it's a 6 date tour, canceling even one of them will be a lot, so I feel like they want to make sure that every date can happen. At the end of the day, they need to say something soon because tour is not that far away

I don't see her doing a brand new show with a new setlist in such a short amount of time. If she does the Enigma show with a 3-4 Chromatica tracks thrown in, i will cringe. Not fair to the fans  #sorrynotsorry

Does anyone know if the London date is happening or not? I have tickets but I need to schedule a hotel too and I don't see that happening :messga:

Most places are offering free cancellation right now due to the constant uncertainty of covid.

If I were you I'd book somewhere, and you can just cancel if she does.

I wonder if they did at least tried the choreos and had stage designed.

If the tour was already in a very developed stage it may happen, even with different dates. If not it seems a rather pointless effort. I mean its not only monsters, they need to feel buzz from the gp and be sure theres high demand. Shes been silent for too long

I think it's extremely possible for them to plan a show with three months (especially since they've surely picked the setlist and have a set design).

People underestimate pop stars. They can have full wardrobes and sets created with a months time. And for past tours, I'm pretty sure I remember Gaga doesn't even really start dance rehearsals until a month out.

I really don't understand where this idea that Gaga spends months rehearsing came from. She never has. Didn't she even say in the Joanne Zayn Lowe interview she doesn't like to rehearse too much, she likes spontaneity.

She has Michael Bearden, her musical director, to sort out the setlist and arrangements. The band can practice without her. She usually has an artistic director, like Eli for Enigma, to sort out the stage and aesthetics. Her stylists do the costumes, and Richy does the choreography. Gaga really doesn't have to do much other than just rehearse choreo for a month and go to a couple costume fittings.

What are the chances for Paris/London happening? Still have to decide on buying tickets :spin:

UK one is more than likely going ahead with limited capacity, considering how great we're doing with our vaccinations but time will tell.

Let's not forget that Gaga has been filming a movie for months and probably learning the script/getting in character for a while before that. Even if some venues open by the dates for the tour, you need to take into account the fact that tours are preceded by extensive rehearsals and I'm not sure that could still happen after Gucci and before the tour itself. Venues might still have their concerts listed but they may still not happen because of that, so keep that in mind.

I feel like some you guys are forgetting she put the Coachella show together in a week. We will be fine, it most likely won't be incredible however it is not going to be shitty.

Coachella was her worst show visually tho. The set list was god tier and the on screen visuals snapped but the sets? The outfits? she took 2 weeks and we could tell :billie:

the Coachella show is different, they had a build stage.Stadium tour requires more preparations, such as sound systems, lights, crew, promotion, costumes(the coachella ones were...a choice) and although its been a long time(she herself said it in september, that they didnt start preparing for the tour),i am skeptical she had time after that(House of Gucci,Biden's inauguration,Bullet train and so on)

I still be happy if she manages to do it and the tour will happen though, its just how the final product will look like.

Exactly!!

Now that she's done filming, there's no reason why a show can't be put together between now and August. She will surely recycle some stuff from Enigma (though I know she said she wanted to make a whole new show for Chromatica but who knows how "new" she meant.)

I have my tickets for 8/27 in Chicago and I'm feeling confident. Other bands/artists are announcing tours these days that begin in September of this year. Plus, the stadiums are open-air and they are currently holding baseball games right now with 100% capacity.

Tell us when she has rehearsed extensively, lol.

She doesn't need to rehearse extensively. All she needs is only like a month.
