Republican Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst went viral on social media after users mocked a poster board she presented while addressing the Senate on Wednesday.

Ernst used the graphic to criticize the policies of the left ahead of President Biden's first address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday night.

Ernst's poster presentation, titled "Liberal Fantasy Island," was emblazoned with slogans such as "abolish ICE," "end the filibuster now," "expand the court" and "defund the police."

Shortly after Ernst's remarks were televised, a social media user photoshopped the poster to poke fun at her presentation. The edited version featured altered slogans such as "abolish lasagna," "only gay people get to go to restaurants" and "Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," an ode to the hit Amazon Prime show.

Bleachella

it genuinely baffles me how some of these people are alive, much less get ELECTED. like I refuse to accept that either a) not a single person has decided to take matters into their own hands and finish the job, or b) natural selection has done the job

So basically

"US voters elect a Democrat who follows through with Democratic policies. Right wing twats get upset about it."

I think the Repugnants* are confused :huntyga: being unifying means not being an abrasive d*ck like Trump was. It doesn't mean caving to Republican demands.

*My phone now wants to autocorrect "Republicans" to "Repugnants" and I'm not going to stop her :gayhat:

Whimsical bitch
