fun fact: the town name Portorosso is a tribute to Ghibli's animated movie, Porco Rosso :flower:

Are you sure? This movie is set in  Liguria (Italy) and of the most famous cities in Liguria is Monterosso, a beautiful town by the sea.

Luca’s director Enrico Casarosa has expressed his admiration for Hayao Miyazaki, Studio Ghibli, and Japanese animation several times, suggesting Pixar’s new movie will be inspired by it.

I just watched it right now and it's so cute, not the best animated movie ever but it's cute.

I finally watched it. So good. Made me cry a little.

Sea monsters themselves seem to also be a metaphor for LGBT people.

Sucks that I watched it with my family so I couldn't sob my heart out :messga: The train scene was heartbreaking and it reminded me of Elio calling his mom in Call Me By Your Name

I know right? The ending of CMBYN was so heartbreaking

Mom: Whatever happens, Elio, know something

Elio: What mom?

Mom: That you can always call me by your name

Elio: I love you so much, Elio

*they both start crying*

I cry every time

This was an official message from the Office of the First Lady.
