I’m not even saying they actually ripped anything off, but the similarity in concept AND name AND visually sure makes it look like one. 
 

Am I Crazy to think there should have been someone in the room to say “this looks a little similar to another major release recently, let’s try to avoid the obvious comparisons”?

The fact that no one in the room said it is proof that the projects are only similar to Gaga fans.

In fact, this Coldplay project was announced a week ago, and no one was talking about Chromatica until today, when a Twitter stan account posted a tweet that included a fake Chromatica image.

Coldplay stans are dragging us little managers on twitter, they are super kind and explain things and here we are, kindness punks, having meltdowns and trying to cancel and ridicule a big band that could bring Gaga a nice collab and more GP.

This is not a stretch for Coldplay. Maybe you guys should actually educate yourselves on their music instead of just dragging them. It's clear many of you are ignorant and let your kinship to Gaga take precedent over your brain.

Lady Gaga certainly did not invent the planet/extraterrestrial aesthetic, but really? KAOTICA? That sounds so similar to CHROMATICA. Plus, Coldplay presenting an alien language of letters and numbers? Pretty similar to Gaga presenting the idea of alien tribes via Stupid Love.

Maybe not a stretch but there's no denying there are A LOT of similarities happening here between the colors, the unique symbols and the album name (Kaotica and Chromatica).
