Stevie Nicks is the Supreme White Witch of Music and The Arts, she’s above Queen :firega:

Still voted for her though.

Janis is the most “rock” one

Yeah, I'd say Janis or Grace Slick, although Janis is a bigger name

It's so hard to choose between these 3 queens!!  Some other nominees to consider:

Joan Jett!!! Saw her live in 2019, she sounds GREAT to this day

Siouxie Sioux! The number of girls and women she influenced with her iconic style and makeup look!

Joan Jett is listed as the queen of punk according to that wiki article

Tina Turner is usually associated with the title of the queen or rock'n'roll although her music is not really rock.

isn't rock and roll something different? I don't know the details but i think rock and rock and roll are not the same

yes, rock'n'roll is a genre that developed in the 40's and 50's , and rock is a broader term for all the variants

I'd say that the songs she did with Ike is definitely rock'n'roll.... in the later solo years she gravitated more towards pop rock.

But she is usually regarded as the queen of rock.... even the grandma of rock, which is offensive, especially because she got this label in her 40's

Despite her not being insanely known, I agree with this!

Unexpectedly considering her current music style, FKA twigs' credits her as one of biggest inspirations. Bc she used to have a more punk-based sound before she did EP1 which was inspired by her. And in a way you can see it fashion-wise a bit too.

It's Stevie for me, before I even saw the options. Her songwriting is unmatched imo.

But, I'm honestly not really familiar with Tina's music so I suppose I can't discount her!
