But, I'm honestly not really familiar with Tina's music so I suppose I can't discount her! Tina doesn’t write her own music but she is one of the best performers off all time and I believe the first black female to sell out stadiums on tour You should check out all of these performances her charisma and energy are unmatched until this day Banned 04/19/2020 - 04/19/2020

Schwerk 7,243
Tina when it comes to this list, definitely. I love all 3 of them very much and they've inspired me greatly. Janis is more a blues queen to me. Stevie as a person is rock n roll AF but her singing style is so mellow I can't picture her wearing the title queen of rock n roll. Tina's music evolved and went down different paths, but her attitude was rock n roll from day one. She is the blueprint for powerhouse female rock vocals. She was a beast on stage, she showed everyone how it's done. Tina paved the way for women to exude a different energy, sexuality, rawness and power on stage. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Born This Way 1,789
I haven't listened to a ton of female classic rock but I'd say either Tina or Janis but I'm leaning toward Janis. 2 hours ago, Marjol said: Yas, I love this scene so much and she's amazing. Alannah 2,986
This is so hard because all of the women in rock and roll are so bad ass; they hype me up so much. Debbie Harry is also amazing. Honestly, all of the women listed in here bring so many interesting facets to the genre, Tina is iconic, Stevie is a witch, Janis' voice lives in my heart and soul -- ugh. However, with the credit of rock and roll being stolen from* black artists and given to the likes of performers like Elvis, I believe the true queen of rock and roll would be Tina. Judas Society 3,584
I voted Janis but her music isn't exactly rock and roll. Her music is more blues even though rock and roll is influenced by blues. A great example of one of her best live performances from Monterrey Pop Festival. Totally mesmerizing.
