Okay, but if the person wants to share it, then let them share it. Unless it's against the rules of the forum then it should be fine. It's literally one thread out of dozens that you can go to.

This isn't the first time something like this has been posted and it's kinda weird that so many people are offended by it right now tbh. Like, this is a pop forum that discusses all kinds of things: politics, movies, tv shows, other artists, etc., etc., etc. That argument could be made about literally anything.

I'm all for freedom of posting whatever you like but this 1) treats a really serious issue 2) has no context whatsoever but just to inform someone committed suicide 3) does not care about preventing self harm 4) it doesn't open a serious discussion on the subject. that's my pov but OFc you can do whatever you like, and like everything, it'll soon be forgotten.

And like I said, pretty much all your criticisms can be brought up about other topics that are generated on this forum. Again, if it doesn't violate any of the forum's rules or guidelines, then people can post what they want and for people to come into threads (not just this one) being like, "What is the point of this?" just seems weird and unnecessary.

It's really not...

There is literally no reason for like five different people to gang up on the OP for posting something that they thought was worth posting that doesn't violate any of of the forum guidelines. 

If you don't want to interact with threads like these, then don't visit the thread. It's that simple.
