i can imagine a few scenarios:

(1) she just didn’t feel like it  

(2) she’s still in the actor mindset and getting out of character/pausing method-acting would be detrimental to patrizia’s played “authenticity” (to her, at least)

(3) she wanted to but didn’t have enough rehearsal time and, as she’s a perfectionist, she decided not to perform something that isn’t 100% (again, in her mind—we all know she wouldn’t even need to rehearse to slay a piano song, but that’s irrelevant )

Are you guys forgetting she did Coachella, which was a whole 2 hour dance concert, during ASIB? Like she was literally filming scenes then doing those shows in the same day. She also did multiple musical performances whiIe filming AHS if I recall correctly. It is absolutely possible for her to perform while filming.
