As far as I am aware they are finally talks to remove the filibuster.

Which is sad because now a majority of Puerto Ricans support statehood. It'd be a swing state too so idk why Republicans want to gift Democrats the fight for PR statehood. If Dems are the ones that get it done, middle ground PR voters would feel more...idk, "obligated" isn't the right word but they'd be more willing to vote Dem.

If there was bipartisan support for it then Republicans could tap into the conservatives and centrists living there.
