Although Alejandro is great, i still think I was right. Gaga could have even done the same concept with DADT and closeted gays with Dance in the Dark. Whenever it comes on shuffle, I necessarily have to listen to it (unlike what can happen with other Gaga tracks, which require one to be in a certain "mood"). On a personal note, it came out during a very integral time in my life and I forever have memories attached to this song. It also hits on romantic love and heartache in a very interesting way, imho.
