You guys it feels like you think that 50-year-old people are walking corpses who aren't able to feel joy. :ladyhaha:

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

Same and I already feel like my youth will be over when I hit 30 (and that I've wasted it all) and have depressive episodes about it regularly :huntyga:

This is because the way people are thinking has been poisoned by the idea that the youth is all that matters. Being 30 to 40 years old is still a young person in my book. There is so much to enjoy in life and experience when you’re older. At least in Finland, you can still get a new education when you’re older, because education is free here. So maybe that is one of the reasons why I don’t think my life ends after 30s. :laughga:  Because basicly I can still do anything I want to do.

I feel you all. :diane::giveup:

We are all in the same age group. I think this crisis happens whenever we are close to a big decade number and we are forced to reflect what we did in the past 10 years.

I expected the stalker to be like 16 years old before I opened this thread but omg a 52 year old man. If I were Taylor I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that person is still out there.

Or how Welsh singer Duffy was kidnapped, taken abroad, drugged and r*ped for 4 weeks?

Being a celebrity is scary stuff.

Damn I do remember this. People were thinking Duffy got lazy and didn't want to make music but she was kidnapped for weeks and raped. What a horrible thing to experience.

I’m so tired that I’ve opened Gagadaily and read „Shakira Arrested At Taylor Swift’s New...” and I jumped on the chair :bear:

Everything you've all said is true. I understand the idea of still being young at 30, but I think it's more the fact that you 'get away' with more when you're young. A 21 year old can go to the club with their friends, get wasted, make out with a cute stranger, and it's celebrated as 'living up your youth'. Once you hit 30 and above you're classed as 'tragic' for doing any of those things. Living with flatmates or at a parents house is just what people in their 20s do, but once you're over 30 you're 'immature/haven't gotten your life together/a loser'. Maybe not the best examples because I don't aspire to do all that, but it still hurts knowing that you've missed your chance to 'be young' without judgement. It's like your time has passed. It makes me wish I went to the clubs and got drunk and enjoyed living without a care while I had the chance, before the impending societal pressures, before my face started to age and show everyone how 'tragic' I am if I still live youthfully. I feel like I haven't done as much as I'd hoped and had as much fun as I'd hoped, and now I've missed my chance. It's super depressing.

Edit: ah sh.it I made myself sad :laughga:

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
