Canon 672
Ok before I post IV Breeding, Ill post: Nature Breeding 101 :whip: /// What you need for Nature Breeding 1) Everstone 2) Thats it, just an Everstone /// What the Everstone does in Breeding - If neither parent has an Everstone, their children will be given a completely random Nature. Heres an example: --- However, if a Parent IS HOLDING an Everstone, that parents Nature will ALWAYS be passed down to the children. Heres an example: (The Mother is holding the stone, shown in upper left) ----- And thats Nature Breeding 101!

Canon 672
It is time! for the IV Breeding tutorial! Here we go! --- IV Breeding 101 :whip: Unlike the other tutorial/guides, Im going to use one extended Example since I believe its much easier to learn than just saying what it is. So In this example I'll be using my favorite pokemon (pre-evo) Shuppet! Also, this example is for breeding Perfect (31) IV Pokemon ---- /// Step 1: Getting the necessary Pokemon Remember in the IV guide how Friend Safari guaranties 2 Perfect 31 IV's. If so, congrats! Because thats where we're headed. Im going to make believe I captured 2 Shuppets in a F.Safari. 1 Male, 1 Female (obviously) (these 2 will both have 2 perfect IVs) I then took then to the Stats Judge in the Pkmn Center and these are the (made up) stats: --- /// Step 2: The Daycare and You Now that we have 2 pokemon and 4 perfect IVs (all IVs are in separate stats = awesome), we want the parents to hand down their stats to their children. To do that you'll need: the following 1) Destiny Knot 2) Thats is, just the Destiny Knot We'll give the D.Knot to the Father in this example (It doesnt matter which, as long as 1 parent has it) The image below shows this: ----- /// Step 2.5: Pass down a Nature! In my previous post I explained how to do this. Go look for it above! Give the parent the Everstone and you're on your way! ----- /// Step 3: Breed! Breed like crazy! Congrats you're pretty much half done! But heres the frustrating part that breeders, as well as myself, dont enjoy. Once you get a few eggs (In this example Ill just hatch 2 eggs.) hatch them. Once hatched fly back to Kiloude City and back to the Stat Judge (get friendly with him since youll be talking to him a lot) However before that, Ill explain what that Destiny Knot does. The Destiny Knot, when given to a pokemon for breeding, will randomly select 5 stats from both parents and pass them down to the children/eggs. (The 6th stat will alway be a random value from 0-31) Heres my 2 eggs that I got from my Shuppet parents: Egg #1: As you can see, the D.Knot brought over 3 of the mothers stats, and 2 of the fathers. (And the stat NOT chosen will become a value between 0-31) Since this baby shuppet (when Judged) only gave 2 perfect IVs, he's unfortunately useless. With that said you can set him free. Lets see how Egg 2 does. Egg #2: Gasp! That Shuppet baby (when Judged) has 3 perfect IVs! This is what you want! Now that this female baby Shuppet has 3 Perfect IVs, you have a few options: Option 1) Replace the Mother with this new baby female. Don't worry about incest. In the Pokemon world incest between pokemon does not exist. Option 2) Keep the parents as they are and wait for the all 4 of the parents IVs are passed onto the baby (this may take a while) Option 3) Replace the mother with this female Shuppet, THEN find a male shuppet with 2 differing perfect IVs and replace the father. --- And thats its! As of this step, All you need to keep doing is swapping out the parents with higher and higher IV children. ***IMPORTANT*** Don't forget to take the Destiny Knot from the parents when swapping them out. I accidentally set parents free while they held the D.Knot and these items are not as easy to get back.

Thank you so much, Canon! I've been practicing EV training on a Miltank and Spritzee the way you said and it's pretty easy. Now I'm going to start practicing IV breeding! Thanks so much! If there are any more tutorials, I sure am looking forward to them.

I can find and breed them for you if you want Oh and I find the Pokebank thing a bit depressing for some reason Like how is a player like me supposed to get Pokemon from previous generations with hidden abilities!?
