But it definitely made it possible, as did having this thread on GGD to get people to trade with me in a pinch. Generation 6 will most likely last longer than the previous generations. and of course X/Y will have a direct sequel. There's a lot unexplained things in the game. Also, since Game Freak can now patch the original games anytime (like the unreleased megas from ORAS), there's a possibility that the sequel might introduce more mega pokemon.
