(It's the first time I'm training evs since my old ds was a flop and it couldn't connect to Internet so I didn't need a good team) My question is: do you guys go counting in a paper or something the amount of evs? I mean, I already know how to train evs and everything but I'm not sure about this That's one way to do it. However, you can usually max EVs in two stats (e.g. Spe/Atk) and then pour the remaining EVs into an auxiliary stat (like SpA); this method works for most pokemon. I know, I'm training a protean froakie and I want to max esp at and speed, but I don't know if I do it until something tells me that that stat is at the maximun or if I should count them in a note If you look at the super training thing on your touch screen it'll show a bar, once it's full your 510 EVs have been used up and distributed It'll say a Pokemon's stat is maxed when it reaches 255 but that's not divisible by 4 so obviously you stop at 252, you'll have to count to 252 then stop that stat. Then do 252 on the other. Then just max out the bar with the remaining stat you want and it'll say your Pokemon is fully trained Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
