Pokerus is like a "disease" that your pokemon can randomly catch. It has two forms, a contagious form and a noncontagious form. It can spread to other pokemon in your party. If someone trades you a pokemon with pokerus you can spread it to your own pokemon. By putting the pokemon with the contagious form of pokerus in a box can prolong the contagiousness (once its gone to noncontagious its noncontiguous forever). Power items only slow the pokemon down while its holding the item. It wont effect the stat and it would be no negative effects once you take the power item off. I root for you. I love you.
