BW2 were direct sequels, which is entirely different from those other third games. 

also, i am not gonna say that the XY followups are X2Y2, cause they sound ridiculous.

 

but wouldn't a RS sequel would make more $$$$$$$$$$$$$ than Z ? 

 

Edit: i think 2015 is the best time for the sequels prior to the release of Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald from 2005 .

Actually, R/S are from March 2003, while Emerald is from May 2005. So they're already over 10 years old.  :nooo:

We're getting Z and most likely R/S remakes so it's practically a win win for all. I can't see them doing a direct sequel for R/S but X/Y maybe.

I think the Ruby and Sapphire remakes are coming after Y and X on the 3DS, it follows a trend. 

 

1st generation remade with 3rd gen on GBA

2nd gen remade with 4th gen on DS

3rd gen remade with 5th gen on 3DS 

 

Am I the only one who wants a game where you can you to each main game regions: Kanto/Jhoto, Hoen, Sinnoh, Unova. It could be on the Wii U

Gurl I've been saying this for years. It should be for both a home console and the current handheld console. What gen do you think they'll ever end this with? You would think they would stop when it starts to decline but with X and Y they're popularity is about to go WAY back up.

Competitively there was a peak with Gen 4, I didn't really like Gen 5 all that much. I dont even know why, playing that game felt like a chore and leveling up took forever. (They need to bring back the Vs seeker its makes lvling up sooo much easier). But who knows how far they are gonna go, Pokemon is Ninetendo's cash cow and they need some kind of income to support their falling consoles

Um the original Wii is selling more than the WII U and the 3DS is exactly seeing DS numbers. I have both and I love them but yea. Not to mention the WII U isn't a high enough step up compared to the PS4 and the Xbox One
