Bling 31,488
I've thought for a while now how great it would be for Gaga or DJWS to release or contribute to an ARTPOP era tell-all book that details what actually happened. I think it would be cathartic for both of them and also would bring fans closer because we've always wondered...continued to support her and even 8 years later. I'm sure there are some non-disclosure agreements that have to expire before they can really talk about anything. I think one time DJWS said something like "legally that's all I can say" . What are your thoughts?
androiduser 7,438
No, because there is no way to find out who is telling the truth and what is exaggerated, embellished etc. At the beginning of the era, Gaga was calling it the era when she can finally be who she is, and I think she even said she didn't need to hide behind the costumes anymore. This was at the very beginning when she started wearing much simpler outfits and had more natural hair. Then this didn't really garner much attention and she was back to the crazy outfits. And then when the whole era underperformed, the blaming game started.

I think I would bring a lot of light to the negative aspect of record labels and people would rally behind her.
Dr Fudge 8,635
Has Troy Carter ever spoken out about what happened? Been a cuff touple, a puff bupple, a tough couple of years.

PEZ 6,248
I would read this in a heartbeat but I don't think it would ever happen, or at the very least Gaga would not write it nor put many details on record. I don't think she would want to explicitly tie names and bad acts together -- she'd probably view it as a matter of kindness to not expose people in a tell-all, even if they wronged her somehow and even if she was as factual and unemotional as possible about it. Regardless of whether she's now on good or bad terms with the people involved with her at that time, I think she'd view it as painting a target on them simply to name them where fans could read about it, especially now that she has had more years to witness how her fanbase behaves and reacts to things. Plus she's just more private nowadays too. I think we'll hear more tidbits every now and then dropped into her interview replies or mental health talks, and we'll slowly piece together more over the years, but not that it'll come out in the form of one big tell-all. ⚡🐲

HausofGabo 1,263
As much I would love to know everything, no. Bringing triggering moments of suffering to Gaga is just not worth it.

I totally see your point but many celebrities release books or autobiographies detailing their time in the industry. It's not as farfetched as some make it out to be. EDIT: Also, I think judging from her comment about R Kelly/DWUW a few years ago she's being more honest about her mental state at that time and accepting responsibility in her role of what she created and some of her antics. An autobiography, sure, but not a book specifically about ARTPOP, that would be so over the top
