I think the final version of telephone kept the demo vocals (changed some effects though) I guess it just depends if she's happy with how they sound

I'm torn. It looks like she's genuinely thinking about it, but I couldn't ask her to revisit a place where she clearly was in a bad headspace and bad place in her career.

 

Time will tell, maybe she'll leak things here and there.

ARTPOP is my favorite album, so this is making me so emotional. But i'm very certain that no new material is coming. It just does not make sense. But it's nice to dream..

I’m desperate for Act II, and there’s definitely a chance it could come. ARTPOP happened in a bad time for her, and I think we’d all understand if she chose not to release it. That being said, the way she worded the tweet makes it seem like us LMs are loving it the way she intended. I feel like how big our demand for it is has definitely helped her current opinion on it somewhat. I think our love for ARTPOP will definitely result in more music, because she knew LMs loved it, regardless of critics, but this? I’d never have guessed this would happen. Reading her tweets made me cry, and I don’t think it’ll all result in nothing. We’ll get music, but whether it’ll be Act II or not is a different story. And it could come whenever - a few months or a few years. I feel like it has sparked something for her, and if so, I’m grateful she’s once more seen how much we love her and her beautiful ARTPOP

edit: hope people stop with the whole "dated on arrival" schtick just because it was heavily electronic. ARTPOP was more than just EDM, minus well 2 songs lol.

That's normal lol. Most artists have thousands of unfinished songs. That's how they come up with the concept of an album, they write a lot, they record a lot then if they like something they go in that direction. It doesn't mean all of those songs are good enough (to the artist) to be released. As for Act 2, I know these were really good because she had plans to release them, unlike lets say Born This Way outtakes or The Fame.

Y'all reading too much into it, she didn't hint anything about releasing ACT II.

If anything she was trying to tame the wildfire cos the petition is getting too serious.

She just thankful that y'all still like ARTPOP and that's it.
