Either they see us like little maggots and watched us for education and watch us like we do with ants or whatever. If in the near future humans were able to perfect high speed space travel, and found a planet with more primitive life, we would understand the incredible scientific potential of studying them and observing their evolution. Why go to that planet just to kill them all? It makes no sense Then again, I'm basing my theory off humans so it could be completely wrong. If these are spacecraft from a more intelligent race, they could think in ways that we don't even understand I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
