Bebe 16,989
So trends change in pop music and everything from the length and structure of pop songs to genre shift in popularity. Gaga has now been in the industry for over 10 years, her early work helped to bring dance music into pop. Now we are in the streaming era and pop music sounds totally different to how they sounded 2008-2013, what Gaga single has aged the best? I don't think it's fair to include her two most recent albums Joanne or Chromatica, because I don't think enough time has passed to tell. For me it has to be The Edge of Glory It was already a classic sound that was just modernised for the time - the song structure was strong enough to make it a hit at the time. The other pop songs that joined it in the top ten at the time mostly follow the dance pop trends of the time and, to me, sound pretty dated: E.T (Katy Perry ft. Kanye West) Give me Everything (Pitbull ft. Ne-Yo, Afrojack, & Nayer), Just Can't Get Enough (The Black Eyed Peas) On The Floor (Jlo ft. Pitbull) Till The World Ends Remix (Britney Spears ft. Nicki Minaj & Kesha) The Edge of Glory sounds different to all of those songs which is why I think, although not following the trends of today, it still sounds fresh. It had such a wide array of influences, from 80s glam rock to 90s industrial techno and 00's euro pop. The combination of all this is what made it sound fresh, and I don't think anyone has ever done something quite like this since. TFM also feels pretty universal, I could imagine it being released today and smashing just the same.

GoldenPonyboy 2,316
For being her oldest song, just dance still sounds really good to me. In general, i would say that the production on most her singles has aged well
MoonIight 1,372
Mostly songs from Born This Way and that's because the album wasn't a carbon copy of its two predecessors and she was making music inspired by things she loved the most. The Fame and The Fame Monster have those dated RedOne beats and drops that make the songs sound really like products of their time (which is not necessarily a bad thing). And as for ARTPOP, that album was dated on arrival.
monketsharona 63,316
Most of her smash hits from the Fame and The Fame Monster still sounds sooooo good today. Mainly why iconic songs like Bad Romance, Poker Face, Just Dance, Paparazzi, Alejandro and Telephone still get solid streams in 2021. It's still just a pleasure to listen to it 12-13 years later. The Fame and The Fame Monster have much more longevity in time than BTW and ARTPOP. Stream and charts numbers talk.
