Her "meh" album is B'Day. Most fans hate it now.

OT: I can't believe that my faves are 'best of all time".

B’day is the only album of Beyoncé’s I actually like tbh, it’s kind of her best work imo

Madame Goo Goo

The Madonna one is kind of off

One that got popular - Like A Virgin

Best album of all time - Ray Of Light

Experimental - Madame X

Cult classic - American Life (absolutely NOT Confessions what a silly answer)

Fan favourite - Confessions On A Dance Floor

Meh - MDNA

Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything

so many in the OP are choice af. how is cheek to cheek experimental? it’s old timey jazz music. that’s not an experiment. also i’d say the fan favorite is really BTW and Fame Monster is the best of all time considering the fans are obsessed with btw but there’s a lot of meh fillery stuff on it. Joanne is the meh one though for her that was kind of experimental actually. ASIB might be the one that got popular. i’d say ARTPOP is probably the cult classic. chromatica is... we’ll have to wait and see i think.

Lol. None of Gaga's albums are experimental

None of her music is reflective of how weird she wants to be or thinks she is.

ARTPOP experimental ? Please. It sounds like any generic and common edm/dubstep from 2011-2012

That album was so frontloaded

I'm a Madonna stan and I would put Like A Prayer as the fan fave.

There's nothing experimental about C2C.  If you attend jazz concerts you will find that the old jazz standards, as Tony puts it: the great American songbook, is what jazz bands play at concerts.

Edit:  It's not even experimental for Gaga.  She was into jazz before pop, and she performs sets at jazz clubs when the opportunities arise because that's what she loves to do.

I live outside the space time continuum.

Gaga weird?  You do know irl she has traditional family values and is not weird at all.

Bedtime Stories and Music in meh?? Excuse me??? What is this blasphemy?? :saladga: I can even understand Chromatica in meh even if I personally like it a lot, but Bedtime Stories and Music is just....

And how is Confessions a cult classic, that’s literally one of her most successful and critically acclaimed albums and eras upon release.

I think Gaga's whole artistic persona has always been about mixing "weird"/avant-garde visuals and fashion with commercial-friendly GP appealing music that everyone can relate to. It's why she is so successful. She's always existed at the crossroads of underground artistry and commercialism.
