That was the concept of the first album, old skool vocals and melodies with hip hop production, it make sense. She did’t actually want to be a gangster

I mean, I don't think she literally meant she wanted to be a gangster but she would often describe herself/her music as "Gangster Nancy Sinatra" and "Lolita lost in the hood"
