Has Gaga's music ever been fresh or ahead of the trends?

I think she has many timeless tracks, like Speechless, Yoü and I, The Edge of Glory, ARTPOP

Poker Face is also sampled sis

She only sampled the “Ma-ma-ma-ma” parts :triggered: it’s not like the whole song or instrumental was sampled

Always, I hate the concept of music being "dated", people still enjoy music from the 20th century, people will enjoy Gagas music in the 3000s!

Her music is like canned food or wine. It's still edible and delicious even after a few years. :ohwell:

my username says it all 🇵🇭

Her old music? Of course not. Like all music, it ages as technology improves, techniques change, and trends and tastes shift. That’s normal. It happens to everyone.

Is Chromatica fresh? To me, it absolutely is. I definitely think it was a breath of fresh air not only for her, but also for the industry itself. Especially “Stupid Love”. It’s very carefree, melodic, catchy, and it has an ideal tempo (118 BPM). It actually kind of reminds me of Lucky Star.
