Police in Pasadena responded to an apartment complex around 11:30 a.m. Friday following a call about a shooting, KPRC reported. The girl — identified by family members as Laurionne Walker — had been shot multiple times, according to the outlet. Police said Raymeon Means, 35, shot Laurionne after becoming angry over spilled water, KHOU reported. The “alleged reason is that the victim clogged the toilet and that the water spillage angered the suspect and an argument ensued inside the home,” police spokesperson Sgt. R.L Granados told the Houston Chronicle. A neighbor told KPRC that a man had knocked on his door not long before the shooting and asked him to see if there was water running into his apartment because the girl had clogged the toilet. He left and not long after the neighbors heard arguing. “[The man] was banging on a car. The woman upstairs had a knife and they were saying, ‘Get out of here. Get out of here!’” Mauricio Alvarez said, according to the outlet. “[Later] he went running upstairs, and we heard like [four to five] shots, and he started running, and we started hearing screams.” The girl was rushed to a hospital, where she later died, KTRK reported. Following the incident, police say Means ran off, but authorities found him roughly two blocks away, according to the Chronicle. Its not just mass shooters or criminals... its also too easy for any normal average person with anger issues or any individual in a bad state of mind or emotional state to have a moment where they snap and in a span of a few seconds kill someone and by the time they calm down its too late Theres no reason the general population should have guns. chromatic puzea 10,653 Posted March 21, 2021 Share Posted March 21, 2021 this is so terrible and the reason her mother left her with the suspect is because they were a relative and she needed to attend a vigil for her sister and three nieces/nephews who died only a few days prior, i can't even start to imagine what's she's feeling right now no body should be killed because they make a mistake, especially not children, i highly doubt what clogged the toilet was not intentional at all this is why guns need to be banned, they have one purpose and that is to hurt people rest in piece Laurionne Walker hard to even fathom which parts you should believe Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

We should have more mental health awareness programs to manage emotions. Now this child is gone because of a clogged toilet. She must've been frightened, the poor baby. God damn. She was too young and innocent to defend herself, and too young to even have a say on why American's gun policy is absurd. May she rest in power and may her name be an example as to why the US needs to ban recreational firearms.
