I think a lot of the album in general has been underrated, mainly because it's a different kind of dance music than Gaga has normally put out. I saw one user describe it as a "round" sound, compared to her normal "sharp" sound, and I think that's a perfect way to describe it.

That said, I feel like Enigma is especially underappreciated. That song is so ****ing groovy, serves power vocals, catchy chorus and verses – more than any other song on the album, I think it would've done well on the charts in its own right.

Stupid Love, also, is a sturdy pop song. Will never understand the hate it gets.

I know 1000 Doves is more on the "basic" side but do you hear Gaga's voice? The lyrics? How heavenly and light the song sounds?

That's why I don't like it even more. Instrumentation totally ruined the song for me. Or wrong melody, I don't know. Piano version is heaven. I don't mind song being uptempo, I just can't stand this one.

1000 Doves and honestly Enigma, that song is so bombastic, huge, and epic yet I rarely see it get mentioned :smh:

1000 Doves for sure. I sobbed the first time I heard it on release night. Such a beautiful song.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

Reject False Icons

Enigma is sooo underrated, the sound and the voice treatment makes it so epic, so cinematic like she could be singing it on the top of a building/mountain or simply she could be flying at night
