There was no love making scene, that's why :ally:

But there's a very sensual kiss scene under the moonlight

I don't know if they are "the best" but these are my favorites

North Sea Texas is such an adorable film. I love the ending. It's kind of a happy ending.

I have a couple theories :lolly:

The movie divides the character in different times of his life which is very interesting and it shows you a more complex way the life of the character, but precisely because of this is not easy to hold on into your memory. A lot of movies use flashbacks to point a certain event that is relevant to the character but Moonlight is divided in time periods which does not allow the viewer to actually fall in love with a character because it's played by different actors during different times during the movie.

God's Own Country is amazing

Totally agree with you. It's slow paced but the development of the story is so good that you don't care or even notice it. Def a must watch.

And it's not trying to be pretty! Yes, the ending is happy for a change, but everything is really raw and real. I loved that aspect

Exactly! You see the internal racism the characters have towards Gheorghe and how Johnny slowly starts to see him in a different light and eventually falls in love with him so much that he tells his family that he needs him to be a better person, to be happy. And gladly for once a movie like this has a happy ending.

Because many of these movies are not easy to access for the masses I normally look for torrents.
