I kept putting it off but finally watched it this past weekend and was so glad I did. So worth it, I'm still thinking about it even now and will definitely be watching it again. Carol, Moonlight, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Call Me by Your Name, Blue is the Warmest Color, Pain and Glory, and A Fantastic Woman areĀ all greatĀ And The Favourite too! I think it tackled sexuality/identity in a realistic way without any major stereotypes/Hollywood tropes.
