bionic

My teenage self thought Princess Die was the PEAK of profound songwriting. In 2021 I enjoy the melody but think of the lyrics like :fatcat:

stream bionic

Butters Stotch

Such beautiful lyrics. A sad reminder on how Gaga felt during these times. I'm glad she was able to get over it  must've been pretty hard.

It's her best unreleased track and her only song that ever made me cry :messga:

I'm not having fun tonight.

Schwerk

Honestly, I can't listen to this song, it's so sad. She was in such a dark place at that time. Her sharing this song with us in concert was so special and it probably helped her processing her feelings, but man it's weird to sing along and wave your arms to a song that's so dark. I thought it was a continuation of her work that is about Fame and the martyrdom of fame, inspired by Princess Diana, but this was so much more about her personal struggles than I could dare think of. Back then I knew something was up with her, but I couldn't imagine how bad it was since she was such a powerful force on stage. Remember talking with my friends about how weird it feels to know something is not right with someone (who you technically don't know) and nothing you can do about it. And I'm not talking about the hip, but her being worn out, tired and dealing with her mental illness. She was sharing so many things with us up on that BTW ball stage. I just wished I hugged her tighter and let her know we see her for who she is, not just the popstar.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

I often listen to it, it's such a masterpiece. It's really a pity that she didn't release a studio version for it :(
