It’s to hype people up. Like when it comes to an album announcement, unless an artist is going to completely surprise drop their album, them saying something a long the lines of ‘stay tuned’ is quite exciting and drums up hype - gives ‘press’ time to speculate and drum up hype too for the benefit of whatever’s coming hope that doesn’t sound rude by the way, don’t mean it to.
