Schwerk 7,246
She is such a force, such a legend and seems so kind and down to earth. She's been through so much and relaunched her career at a time when a woman was considered too old after the age of 35. She is the most phenomenal stage presence, so powerful in every way. I was lucky enough to be at this show in 2009 with my sister and it was amazing seeing this legend this close on stage, rocking her ass of at age 70. Unforgettable. Can't wait to watch this, just have to figure out how since HBO is not available to me. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Sister 9,907
Wow so Good! I can't believe that she didn't have friends and people in her corner telling her her worth and beauty, she was so beautiful and magnetic! Her voice and presence, so happy that she carried on and made it her way, she is spectacular! Love her so much, what a story and a life.Tina Turner is a great big role model. Love her! The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
dit 46,482
What made Tina so amazing to me was that she was extremely unique compared to all the other divas from her time. She was a rock star with pop sensiblity and incredible stage presence. Literally one of the greats. I'm going to watch this but only when I am emotionally stable. One of my mom's biggest wishes was to see Tina live but of ofcurse I knew this wasnt going to happen. I hope I can at least enjoy this doc with my mom
Sister 9,907
I can't believe that this song didn't HIT too?! So Great! It was said to be "too black" for white radio listeners and "too white" for black radio listeners! This song is GODlike! Massive mistake for music to skip on this song. I am so disappointed with history. I am happy that Tina Turner never quit and came back in the eighties like she did huge, she was ahead of her time and such a persona and voice, so COOL. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
