It shows that your Immun system works. Despite the news I would get another shot immediately without a doubt. The risk of blood clotting after AstraZeneca is 6 in a Million (not proven to be related). The risk of blood clotting with birth control pills is at 1000 in a Million (proven to be related) And anyways, so many medics out there can have even worse consequences. Even a medic against a simple headache can have worse consequences like death. AstraZeneca is as safe as any other Vaccine. The last thing we need is people not wanting a certain vaccine and people judging others for having a certain vaccine like it happend to me already. The EU is buying AstraZeneca from Oxford uni at production price, as a consequence the EU takes the liability (AstraZenecas vaccine is non profit). This is not the case for Biontech and Moderna (which make profit with the vaccine). In the end the stop in the EU is a pure money question once again and its a shame that they decided to stop it and risk many lives. Funfact: There where Blood Clotting cases with Biontech too. At what price are we stopping AstraZeneca thats the question here. I work at the Health Department of my city so I allow myself to say that I know one or two things too. We have a lot of doctors working there too and we all got AstraZeneca last week. I prefer having swollen lips, a fever or a high blood pressure then having corona. I’m trying to tel you that the only way out of the pandemic is if we work together. And not accepting a certain vaccine sure is a choice that you are allowed to have but that won’t help solve the problem any time soon.
